Action Works - Image Management - Proprietor

Photographer and Promotional Graphics Design. Prepared promotional material for a mobile automotive detailing service company. Several sites were located for photo shoots. Tool Rental Associate. Performed rental contract processing and point of sale transactions. Through discussion of client projects, recommended tool options and operation specifics. Repaired, cleaned and maintained the tool inventory. Ensured completion of store opening and closing procedures for the department.

Uniform Custom Countertops Ltd. - Ottawa

Production Coordinator - Laminate Division. Managed counter-top fabrication, from quote and sales, order creation, inventory control, stock and supplies purchasing, plant management and tool maintenance, to quality control and delivery. Clientele included private individuals, home builders and property management organizations. Created stock order and inventory control forms and auto-calculating inventory prediction and data compilation spread sheets. Created web site available quote/order forms and stock colour sample forms.

Vision NetWorks - Ottawa

Support Centre Manager. Worked with our tight-knit team of top level Consulting Specialists to create a new level three Support Centre. Identified and documented Support Centre scope and policy. Implementation utilized online collaborative software, which incorporated workflow and documentation. Responsible for delivering telephone support and managing on-site visits for Vision clientele covering Novell and Microsoft Wide-Area Network environments.

International Time Recorder/Canadian Parking Equipment - Ottawa

Service Manager. Tower Clock /Time and Attendance systems and parking equipment service. Co-ordinated four service technicians to provide new equipment installation, training and support as well as on-site and maintenance contract services. Designed and built shop service area and provided all in-shop functions. Provided custom clock installations for clients such as: Carleton Place Town Hall, Arnprior Town Hall and the Department of National Defence. Installed, setup and serviced electronic parking control systems for clients including: Museum of Civilization, RMOC and Ottawa International Airport.

President of a networks technology organization required corporate web site development including personalized video message. Project consultant providing web site design, video conceptualization, direction, location options, still and motion photography and audio/video editing. Video format to support streaming for high and low bandwidth visitors.

Indian and Northern Affairs: On-line workflow and forms development

Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development Canada required and automated workflow system using on-line forms. Responsible for creation, installation and deployment of automated back-office forms system, including analysis and design of forms, database development, query and report design, technical documentation, development of GUI interfaces etc. Used Novell InForms and Corel Paradox.


Carleton Place: Tower clock installation

International Time Recorder Ltd. Requirement for the Town Hall to be retrofitted with a tower clock system. After designing and fabricating support structures in the clock tower, installation included a digital master clock to control the clock-work for the quadruple 6-foot diameter, back-lighted clock dials, as well as the bell hammer mechanism that strikes the huge cast bell located 90' up, inside the tower. Location: Carleton Place, near Ottawa Ontario. Managed project from quotation to completion. Coordinated centennial event with Town Hall staff, for the anniversary of Carleton Place, and the launch of the new clock.


California Sundeck contract for Home Depot Deck and Fence Program: Sales Manager / Print portfolio creation

Deck and fence construction company required sales management including specialized sales tools and promotional materials. Created auto-calculating computer forms for on-site job quotation. Created web site. Photographed installations, developed promotional portfolio samples. Photography, conceptualization, layout, design and image editing.

Print materials, Visual design: Aerospace interior design company

Faulconbridge Completion Services Inc. (interior design of custom jets and yachts) required promotional materials for their “private client” jet division. Created printed visual presentation package and electronic version in Adobe format. Conceptualization, layout, design, image editing.

Promotional DVD: Luskville Dragway Web-Video / DVD

Owner of a local race track requested promotional video footage. Shot video and stills for a full summer of drag racing. Transferred to digital media.
